So this video again involves the injustice of the U.S. incarceration system. Ephesians 5:11 states, “Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them”.
So, here we go. Incarceration has increased 500% in the past 4 decades, despite crime not at all increasing at that pace. I think this is rash, I think we must turn back the clock to a better time, instead of new tough-on-crime legislation which sentenced the gentleman behind me, Allan Russell, to life imprisonment with no possibility of parole for marijuana possession, with no violent criminal history – only two home burglaries that he had served very hard and trying time for 15 years before. Why is a country whose population is about 5% of the world population housing 20% of the world’s prison population? Why four times our population? This is modern-day slavery – but the prisons are the plantations.
