First of all, Holy Spirit: I pray for you to come down in full force, and infinitely, and I pray for the heavenly hosts to make it so, and I pray for the power of heaven in Christ’s name Amen. For the Holy Spirit is a comforter, the fount of joy, love, and all goodness, opposed to the Devil’s oceanside property in Arizona.
I pray for the intercession of St. Padre Pio throughout this entire battle and for this entire prayer.
And if you decide to listen to the Devil’s mind and sin? James 4:3 emphatically says, “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” Citation: http://christchurchbaptist.org/Pastors%20Word/What%20Happens%20 (csmedia1.com)
Bible Questions Answered | GotQuestions.org stated that sin is a sin against God.
Are your prayers not working? I pray that I understand, lord, that “If it delays, wait for it, it will surely come, it will not be late.” Habakkuk 2:3. The Devil is telling you that your prayers won’t, can’t, will not, or have not worked. (Thank you Twitter user @thewarning9)
I pray to not entertain the idea of giving in to temptation and I pray to not entertain it but rather that all impure ideas flee. I pray that the temptation leaves, in the name of Christ Jesus.
If it is true, remember of your deep regret and sorrow after the last time you went through and committed the sin. Not very different this time.
Christ condemns evil thoughts, sexual immorality, wickedness, deceit, and sensuality. I pray to not forget this, and to take this word seriously.
I will read this quote, as the word of God (Mark 7:20-23) is illuminated by the Holy Spirit. “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
Christ said in Mark 14:38-59:
“Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
I pray for an abundance in Spirit, even though the flesh is weak, and it will be overpowered. You are good, lord, and answer prayers in your time, if we have faith. Faith moves mountains, you tell us in scripture, and lack of faith caused a healing not to happen on the part of the disciplines in scripture.
Continuation of previous Bible passage:
“And again he went away and prayed, saying the same words. And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy, and they did not know what to answer him. And he came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough; the hour has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going; see, my betrayer is at hand.”
We cannot sleep, cannot rest, while the Devil is placing ourselves into his hands. We must pray, or we are betraying ourselves and Christ. Christ said to Paul “Why dost thou persecutest me?”, as Paul was a sinner. We persecute Christ. We cannot allow this. We must fight off this temptation, and I pray for all of the heavenly hosts, the principalities and powers in Heaven, the angels and Saints, and Mary to assist. I pray that the power of heaven come down and block the Devil’s attempt, ward off demons, and make sure that my mind is pure and holy, a fitting reward for Christ. We must be grateful for Christ’s sacrifice. Christ tells us that “Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). We cannot see God when sin is blinding our eyes, when “scales” are over it, as they were on Paul, and in a state of temptation we are less lucid and Christ-like, when darkness is around. Such things make us need to pray for Christ ad nauseum until the temptation goes away, for it to go away, and for us to have perfect faith for it to do so, and to make fervent prayer. I pray this to you, oh Lord my God, and that you may help me do this now and whenever temptation is confronted.
Also pray this scripture;
Matthew 5:30: “And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.”
And this one: Matthew 5:38: “But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”
Psalms 24:1-4: “The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.”
Please, oh Lord, I pray humbly that you never allow me to forget the sinfulness of sins of impurity.
Please, I pray to you, oh Lord my God, to remind me eternally the sinfulness of the Devil’s forces and plan for me, and what he is trying to get me to do (and convince me / lie to me that it is my own will and good / best for me).
I pray that any scale is lifted from my eyes, that all darkness around and surrounding me as well as in me and my mind and soul be replaced with light, and that my mind is illuminated by the light of Christ and heavenly things from above rather than below (the underworld).
I pray that my eyes and mind may see clearly, now and forever. I pray for eternal purity, but also pray to never become complacent which is when the Devil creeps in and to always remember to pray, and to do so fervently.
I pray to never listen or believe any of the lies of the Devil, and to avoid the occasion of sin, and even the near occassion.
I also pray to the Lord to allow my paths to be so far from sin and so distant from sin in the future so as to render sin impossible.
In the name of the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
Amen
