C.S. Lewis stated in Mere Christianity that we essentially know what is right – perhaps owing to our conscience, our moral instinct – and so what remains the responsibility of a moral teacher is to remind people of what is right.
Lincoln said, right makes might. And so, we can deduce from this pithy saying that the truth is potent.
I think we all have an obligation to spread the truth, and remind ourselves of the truths in the Gospel and of the Gospel and the truth of Christ, as well as our moral obligation to spread the truth to others, which makes us joyous and satisfied in an inexpressible way
And so, those things are our Christian obligations.
Even if we feel that they’re a done deal – or better done by others -they’re our moral obligation, to go out and spread the gospel to “every creature”, per the Bible.
